Rulles and regulations

 

Article 1

The University of Rijeka is organizing an International Master Workshop and Festival "Dino Ciani", a musical event including training course and concerts, to be held from July 8th to July 19th 2013 in Rijeka, Croatia.

 

Article 2

The event is open to participants of all nationalities. The University of Rijeka will provide those participants who need a visa to enter Croatia with Letters of Invitation.

 

Article 3

The participants can be active or passive. Active participants are entitled to a minimum of 6 hours of individual piano lessons with the teachers of the Master Class. However, they will get most of the lessons by a teacher of their choice. If the number of registered candidates exceeds the organizational capacity of the event, prior to the start of the lectures, auditions will be held in agreement with the lecturers and the participants, and the active participants will be chosen. All participants will be awarded with certificates of participation, as well as passes for concert events.

 

Article 4

The participants will be free to suggest a repertoire of their choice.

 

Article 5

The University of Rijeka will offer the participants accommodation in the Student center of Rijeka, in a double bed room, and will provide conditions for practicing, at least 3 hours a day.

 

Article 6

Entries are open until July 1st 2013, after this date enrolment is possible only in the case of an enrolled participant canceling.

 

Article 7

Within the Festival part of the manifestation, at least one concert, by the most successful participants, will be organized.

 

Article 8

The lecturers can award scholarships for participating in the International Master Class and Festival ‘Dino Ciani’ to the most successful participants.
